C.A.T was established based upon the Amiri decree no. 312 of year 2005, thus the Ministry of Finance-Management of state property contracts has designated a 35,000 m2 piece of land for this purpose in Abu Halifa area block 2 as per contract no. 6389 on 18/2/2010.
Officially we started the first academic year of 2015/2016 as per the ministerial decree no. 176 of year 2015 from the Ministry of Higher Education-Private Universities Council.
College of Aviation Technology is a branch of “Al Hayat College Company for Educational services C.J.S.C” and it falls under the supervision of the Private Universities Council and the Ministry of Higher Education. Thus, it follows the rules and regulations of Private Universities no. 34 of year 2000.
Our program, which is accredited by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Higher Education-Private Universities Council, offers a diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering for both branch mechanical and avionics. Moreover, this program meets all the requirements for European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) accreditation.
Our program is also accredited by the University of Highlands and Islands Perth College which allows our students to benefit from our affiliation with our strategic partner the Scottish Aviation Services Training” AST”.

A Diploma degree certified from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Higher Education-Private Universities Council is provided to our students. Our curriculum consists of theoretical studies and practical training in our workshops and aircraft hangar, as well as, field training on operating aircrafts as per our cooperation contracts with local and regional airlines.
Our Foundation year is divided on 2 semesters to enhance the General English and English for specific purposes & Mathematics and Physics for our students.
